SULGRAVE HISTORY SOCIETY

For almost twenty years the Society has played a major part in the social life of the village producing, amongst other things, a detailed appraisal of the village under the title “Sulgrave – The Chronicles of a Country Parish”. This outstanding document can be seen here.  More recently, a handful of dedicated members have been actively pursuing a number of different projects, including the recording of oral history, the acquisition and management of Castle Green and making the history of the Sulgrave Castle site, and the artefacts found thereon during archaeological excavations, available to the wider public. Details of the latter two projects can be found on this website. For more about the Sulgrave History Society, see here.
